Introduction to Triangles on the Journey Package.

The 'Triangles on the journey' pack can be used in many ways. It focuses on the mathematical concept of the triangle shape through sequential observations which could be made on a journey to the country. Each song focuses on a different aspect of the triangle shape. So, for example, during the journey the songs encourage you to look at roofs of houses, trees in a forest, triangular shaped food, and finish with tents on a campsite. There are 8 different songs.

The DVD lasts for 30 minutes and runs continuously, though the DVD is sectioned into tracks so that you can select one part of the programme if you wish. The songs are linked by 30 seconds of music to give you time to change props or position.

60 photos accompany the music and reflect the song content. They change every 30 seconds to give time for the participants to look at the photograph.

In the fully photocopiable booklet are a list of suggested props to use and actions to do during the songs.
