Introduction to Circles around the Fair.

The 'Circles around the fair' pack can be used in many ways. It focuses on the mathematical concept of the circle through the medium of the fair. Each song focuses on a different aspect of the circle shape. So, for example, the songs encourage you to experience a big wheel, dodgems, a ghost train, cups and saucers ride, and circular shaped food. There are 8 different songs.

The DVD lasts for 30 minutes and runs continuously, though the DVD is sectioned into tracks so that you can select one part of the programme if you wish. The songs are linked by 30 seconds of music to give you time to change props or position.

60 photos accompany the music and reflect the song content. They change every 30 seconds to give time for the participants to look at the photograph.

In the fully photocopiable booklet are a list of suggested props to use and actions to do during the songs.
